Last Monday, September 25, the Rotary Club Sevilla International had the honor of organizing an intimate event at the gastronomic space El Almazén, located in Mairena del Aljarafe. Thanks to the courtesy of our esteemed partner and club member, Christian de Saint Roman, who is also a partner of El Almazén, we were able to enjoy an unforgettable tasting lunch.
On this occasion, we were accompanied by the members of the Rotary Club of Jerez International, with whom we shared moments of camaraderie and carried out an exchange of pennants, symbolizing the “friendship” between both clubs. This Rotary tradition strengthens ties and promotes collaboration in future service projects.
Selu, a distinguished member of the Jerez club, presented his exciting project of the charitable recipe book from Arroztary, an event in which we had the privilege of participating along with other Rotary clubs. This project represents a wonderful blend of gastronomy and solidarity, values that resonate strongly among our members.
Additionally, we had the pleasure of listening to Jose Manuel Baratech, also a member of the Jerez club, who shared his initiative of donating books to charitable organizations. The projects presented were warmly welcomed by our club, and inspired us to continue working together to create a positive impact in our communities.
On behalf of the Rotary Club Sevilla International, our president, Fran Guillén, led the enjoyable meeting. Francisco Martín provided us with a training pill on the Rotary Foundation, enriching our understanding of the essence and functioning of the foundation. Miguel Treviño talked to us about the club’s membership, sharing reflections on how to continue growing and strengthening our member base. Last but not least, Rafael Casal presented the ImpactMentors impact acceleration project, showing the way towards a greater impact in the projects we undertake.
