On Monday, May 27, 2024, the Rotary Club Sevilla International held a memorable meeting at the prestigious Real Club de Golf de Sevilla. Over 30 people gathered to enjoy a cocktail luncheon that undoubtedly left a lasting impression on all attendees.
We had the honor of hosting Rotarians from the Rotary Club Madrid and the USA Hillsboro club, strengthening the international ties that characterize our organization. During the event, we exchanged banners, a symbolic gesture that reaffirms our global brotherhood and collaboration.
The day was enriched by a masterful conference delivered by Antonio Guerrero, president of the Antonio Guerrero Foundation. His presentation highlighted the impressive achievements of his foundation in early intervention. Among these, the most notable is his crucial collaboration in drafting and achieving the approval of Law 1/2023, dated February 16, which regulates early intervention in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. This legislation, the result of years of dedication and effort, represents a significant milestone in improving the lives of many children and their families.
Fran Guillén, president of our club, had the honor of presenting the event and sharing with us the mission and upcoming goals of Rotary Club Sevilla International. His leadership and vision continue to guide us toward new milestones and charitable projects.
Additionally, an exciting charity event was announced, scheduled for the evening of Monday, June 10. This event, organized to benefit the ASEMO association, promises to be a night of generosity and community support. We invite everyone to participate and contribute to this noble cause.
Last Monday’s meeting was not only an opportunity to strengthen ties and share experiences but also to inspire us to continue working together for a better future. We thank all attendees and especially our guests for making this gathering a true success.
We look forward to seeing you at our next charity event and continuing this mission of service and fellowship together!
